Bastian Sendhardt has been working for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Warsaw since 2001. He studied political science and philosophy, and presently specialises in European integration policy, cooperation in the Baltic Sea, and European Neighbourhood Policy. Currently, Mr Sendhardt is working on his PhD at the Bundeswehr University Munich. He has also previously worked as a research assistant at the Aleskateri Institute of the University of Helsinki.
