(PhD Yale) is Jean Monnet Chair and Associate Professor of Political Science, Public & International Affairs,Social & Political Thought, and Socio-Legal Studies at Glendon College, York University. He co-founded the APSA Section on Migration and Citizenship and is writing on politics in the Netherlands and Canada, EU citizenship, and European and multilevel governance. Professor Maas has been awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie International Fellowship by the European Commission and is writing on the future of European citizenship in comparative perspective. He co-edits a freshly-launched book series on the Politics of Citizenship and Migration.
